Hundeparadiset Kompetansesenter is located on Askøy, north west of Bergen. It is in a beautiful location and has both indoor and outdoor facilities.
Lill-Ann Morgan is owner and manager and is a professional dog trainer and behaviour consultant.
Lill-Ann grew up in Norway, Sweden and Ethiopia. After completing her education she was drawn to Africa again and worked for several years in Sudan and in Kenya. She married a Canadian and they have two children.
After a while the family moved to Bahrain where they lived for 14 years.
Dogs have been a natural part of Lill-Ann’s life since she was a baby.
For many years Lill-Ann made her career in the hotel business, office administration, marketing and sales. However, circumstances prompted her to assist people in bringing up and training their dogs and eventually Lill-Ann decided to make working with dogs her career. She completed her Master Trainer education at reputable National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio, USA and has been running a fulltime dog training business for the last 13 years. She ran a dog training and kennel facility in Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf for 8 years and has been running a training center on Askøy since the spring of 2004.
Lill-Ann has accumulated invaluable experience through training thousands of dogs over the years. Her burning passion, insight and high level of competence within dog welfare and training shine through in her approach and interaction with each dog and his owner.
Lill-Ann takes a special interest in the concept of a healthy dog, natural supplements, Bach Flower Remedies for Dogs, kinesiology, Reiki and Touch for Health.
The German Shepherd Dogs Sheeba and Zippi are Lill-Ann’s trusted assistants and are invaluable as such in their reliable, safe and efficient approach to all dogs, big and small, that visit Hundeparadiset. You and your dog will experience a detailed and highly developed dog language; both signals and sounds. Sheeba and Zippi are fantastic teachers who are focused, trusted and friendly in their interaction with the visiting dogs.
